RB Series

The RB Series is purpose-built for the toughest machining challenges, delivering strength, precision, and long-term reliability. Designed as a heavy-duty, double-column, fixed-rail bridge machine, the RB Series provides the structural rigidity required for large-scale and heavy-part cutting applications.

Equipped with high-performance roller guides, the machine ensures smooth, precise axis movement and long-lasting durability under heavy loads. A nitrogen counterbalance system on the headstock promotes stable operation and minimizes wear, while the two-speed geared spindle delivers both the high torque necessary for heavy cutting and the flexibility for varied machining tasks.

Rigid Structural Design

The RB Series is built on a symmetrical, box-type main body structure that minimizes thermal displacement and provides the rigidity needed for long-term accuracy. Its one-piece bridge casting and wide beam design deliver exceptional strength and vibration resistance, while user-friendly ergonomics ensure efficient operation. Ultra-heavy loading roller guideways are used across all axes, with the Y-axis featuring top and bottom roller guides and an extended saddle span for superior stability and machining performance.

Power and flexibility are at the core of the RB Series. Featuring a twin hydraulic counterbalancers on the Z-axis ensure smooth vertical motion, while rapid feedrates up to 24 m/min on the X and Y axes provide speed and efficiency. With optional linear scale feedback on the Y and Z axes, the RB Series offers the ideal combination of rigidity, accuracy, and heavy-duty cutting performance.


Spindle RB

Powerful, High Speed Spindle

At the heart of the machine is a robust 40 HP integral motor spindle, designed to handle aggressive material removal across a wide range of applications—from high-speed machining of aluminum to ultra-heavy cutting of cast iron and steel.

A two-speed geared transmission extends flexibility, ensuring the spindle excels in both rough machining and combined operations. To meet diverse production demands, the RB Series also provides a variety of spindle options.

WELE machines are built to exceed international standards, with flatness controlled to less than 3μm over 1.2m by 1.2m—surpassing JIS grade 0 requirements.
