LA 250 300 Structure

LA-250 and LA-300 Series Turning Centers are built on a foundation of strength and stability, featuring a box way design on the X, Y, and Z axes. This heavy-duty construction provides excellent dynamic rigidity and vibration damping, allowing the machines to maintain accuracy and part quality even during aggressive, heavy-cutting operations.

To further enhance support for longer and heavier workpieces, the tailstock rail is also constructed with a box guideway design, enabling higher tailstock thrust and greater stability in demanding applications. This ensures precise alignment and consistent machining accuracy when handling challenging components.

At the core of the machine, the bed incorporates an internal gear lubrication box, a design that improves lubrication efficiency, reduces wear, and extends the service life of critical components.   • P-Motor Headstock – a more cost-effective spindle option that provides reliable performance for general-purpose turning while maintaining accuracy and stability.

To ensure each machine is tailored to the customer’s application, Takisawa offers a customized needs assessment, providing flexibility in the number of tools, tool holder arrangements, and milling cutter options.
