FX Series Turning Centers are engineered as multi-purpose, high-productivity machine tools, featuring twin spindles and twin turrets for maximum efficiency in complex part machining. Both the upper and lower turrets are equipped with powerful T16 driven tool systems, with the upper turret incorporating a Y-axis to enable advanced milling, drilling, and off-center machining. This multi-tasking capability allows the FX Series to complete multiple processes in a single setup, reducing cycle times and significantly improving overall productivity.
Each spindle is powered by a high-performance built-in motor, delivering smooth, precise rotation with low vibration and excellent thermal stability. Combined with the machine’s rigid bed structure, the FX Series provides the strength and thermal displacement control needed for both heavy-duty cutting and high-precision machining, ensuring consistent accuracy across long production runs.
With its combination of twin spindle/turret architecture, Y-axis capability, rigid construction, and customer-driven improvements, the FX Series is a powerful solution for manufacturers who demand precision, versatility, and high-volume productivity in modern machining environments.

FX Series Turning Centers are built on an advanced hybrid guideway design that combines the strengths of box ways and linear roller guides for optimal performance. The X- and Y-axes utilize heavy-duty box ways, providing excellent vibration damping and superior dynamic rigidity—ideal for stability during aggressive cutting operations. Meanwhile, the Z- and B-axes are fitted with precision roller linear guides, enabling high accuracy, rigidity, and rapid axis movement for faster cycle times and improved productivity.
To further enhance structural integrity, the upper turret, lower turret, and right spindle are supported by independent linear slide rails. By separating the lower turret and right spindle from the same rail pair, the design significantly improves the rigidity of the right spindle, resulting in greater accuracy and machining stability. Both the upper and lower turrets are capable of cutting on either the left or right spindle, delivering exceptional flexibility and multi-tasking capability for complex part processing.
In response to customer feedback, the latest generation FX models have been further refined with an expanded working range and faster feed axis speeds, boosting throughput and adaptability across a wider range of applications. Additionally, the redesigned interior covers streamline chip evacuation and simplify daily maintenance, reducing downtime while improving ease of operation.
FX Series Turning Centers are equipped with left and right spindles powered by built-in motors, delivering high precision, low vibration, and quiet operation. This advanced spindle design ensures excellent thermal stability and superior rotational accuracy, resulting in improved surface finishes, tighter tolerances, and longer tool life. By integrating the motors directly into the spindles, the FX Series achieves smooth acceleration, reduced maintenance requirements, and reliable performance across a wide range of applications.
Complementing the dual spindles are two high-performance, 16-station powered turrets, engineered for maximum versatility in multi-tasking operations. Each turret supports milling, drilling, tapping, and conventional turning within a single setup, allowing manufacturers to consolidate processes and dramatically reduce cycle times. Inside each turret, a large-diameter coupling gear set with a curvic-tooth profile provides exceptional rigidity, clamping strength, and indexing accuracy, ensuring stable machining even under heavy-duty cutting conditions.
Together, the combination of twin built-in motor spindles and dual power turrets gives the FX Series the ability to perform complex, high-precision machining in a single cycle, maximizing productivity, efficiency, and flexibility for modern manufacturing environments.
For manufacturers requiring high-output automation, FX Series models can be equipped with an integrated gantry loading system, enabling high-speed part handling and continuous production with minimal operator intervention. This makes the machine exceptionally well-suited for mass production environments, where precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness are critical.
