JTEKT’s TOYOPUC-Touch HMI is a fully functional touch screen overlay, running on FANUC 31iMB Plus. The system transforms the way operators interact with their machining centers—merging the intuitive usability of modern touch technology with the analytical depth of an intelligent manufacturing platform. The result is a simpler, smarter, and more connected production environment that keeps machines running at peak performance.

The home screen presents an organized Main Menu—Operation, Program, Tool, Inspection, Monitor, Maintenance, Settings, and Other—allowing users to quickly move between functions. A persistent navigation bar remains visible on every screen, ensuring operators are always one touch away from key sections. The layout is user-friendly, easy to learn, and minimizes steps for both new and experienced machinists.

With JTEKT’s integrated OP Supporter, the TOYOPUC-Touch platform acts as a centralized hub for machine communication and optimization. Operators can access setup guidance, process monitoring, and support tools directly through the control—improving uptime and workflow consistency across every shift.

Smart Monitoring & Productivity Tracking

The system features a comprehensive tracking suite that monitors energy consumption, spindle load, machine utilization, tool life, and overall productivity. These insights are displayed in real time, helping manufacturers identify inefficiencies and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Predictive Maintenance & Automated Alerts

Built-in predictive maintenance monitors and automated reminders track cycle counts, component life, and scheduled inspection intervals. The HMI provides detailed maintenance instructions for each task, reducing downtime and ensuring accurate service completion.

Maintenance teams can also remotely access the control through TeamViewer, allowing technicians to view live HMI data on tablets or mobile devices—streamlining troubleshooting and communication.
