The 740V-PRO Vertical Machining Center delivers a perfect balance of speed, precision, and versatility in a compact footprint. Designed for modern manufacturing environments, this high-speed machine comes standard with a 12,000 RPM direct-drive spindle, 30-tool automatic tool changer, and through-spindle coolant system — ensuring reliable, high-efficiency performance across a wide range of machining applications. Its 35.4" x 15.7" table and expanded X/Y/Z travels (29.5” × 16.7” × 18.5”) provide generous workspace capacity while maintaining a small shop footprint, ideal for job shops and automated production lines.

Built for productivity, the 740V-PRO features a fully enclosed design with a lift-up scraper-type chip conveyor, flood coolant system, and real tool load monitoring to maintain process integrity. Advanced FANUC OiMF+ CNC control with 400-block look-ahead AICCII fine mold control ensures smooth contouring and superior surface finishes, even at high speeds. Combined with robot-ready automation, auto front doors, and light curtains, the 740V-PRO is engineered to help manufacturers streamline production and achieve consistent precision part after part.

The AMS 740V-PRO is designed from the ground up to deliver uncompromising rigidity, stability, and accuracy in a compact footprint. Its robust one-piece Meehanite cast iron base and column structure provide superior vibration damping and long-term geometric stability — ensuring consistent accuracy even under demanding cutting conditions. Through finite element method (FEM) analysis, the machine’s frame has been optimized for optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio, supporting smooth axis motion and precise tool engagement across the full work envelope.

Equipped with high-precision linear roller guideways on all axes, the 740V-PRO offers smooth, frictionless motion, enabling faster accelerations and improved contouring accuracy. The combination of C3-class ballscrews, pre-tensioned assemblies, and thermal compensation systems further enhances repeatability during extended production runs.
