At the core of the GR7 is JTEKT’s proprietary STAT BEARING, applied not only to the wheel spindle but also to the workhead and footstock. This innovation provides outstanding rotational accuracy, minimizes the influence of work center hole shape on machining precision, and eliminates the need for conventional work rests. By removing this extra setup step, the GR7 dramatically shortens changeover time, making it ideal for high-mix, fast-paced production environments.
