Precision Planetary Surface Grinding

With grinding wheel diameters of φ355 mm and robust 22 kW geared-head spindles, the PVT machines ensure stable cutting performance, even under demanding stock removal requirements. Their planetary grinding method enables highly uniform contact across the workpiece surface, producing parallelism as tight as 15–30 μm, flatness down to 11–24 μm, and surface finishes as fine as 0.71–1.6 μm Ra depending on configuration.

The PVT1 single-spindle design provides rapid cycle times—as low as 60 seconds per piece—with stock removal up to 0.9 mm, making it ideal for heavy-duty precision machining of cast iron and aluminum blocks. The PVT2 dual-spindle model further boosts productivity, achieving efficient stock removal of up to 0.3 mm while delivering repeatable flatness and finish across large production runs.
