MG Series Gantry Mill

The machine is built on ultra-heavy precision roller linear guideways across all axes, ensuring smooth motion, stability, and long service life. For X-axis travels exceeding 6 meters, a rack and pinion driving system is employed to maintain high performance and accuracy. Its column design is carefully simulated to minimize bending moments from cutting forces, guaranteeing consistent precision even during the heaviest of cuts. A widened foundation design further enhances structural rigidity and provides a stable base, ensuring excellent results in both heavy-duty and high-accuracy machining.

With its modular bed design providing a load capacity of up to 2,500 kg/m², and optional automatic multi-head storage systems, the MG Series is built for maximum versatility and efficiency. Additional features such as twin servo motors with dual linear scales on the X-axis deliver synchronized precision, while a twin screw chip auger system along the X-axis ensures effective chip removal throughout the machine’s full travel.

Designed for versatility, the spindle head can be equipped with a new-generation automatic 5° index mechanism and optional multi-head configurations, enabling efficient multi-face machining that delivers exceptional value to customers. The automatic multi-head exchange system further boosts productivity, ensuring seamless operations while maintaining precision. Each head storage position is equipped with a positioning sensor, guaranteeing accurate placement and reliable functionality.

For precision assurance, the MG Series features an automatic tool length measurement system capable of detecting tool wear during operation. The system also incorporates an anti-dust head storage design, preventing chip and dust contamination to maximize the reliability of automatic head exchanges. With the capacity to store up to five heads in its automatic head storage system and compatibility with tool magazines of up to 32 tools, the MG Series provides the flexibility, precision, and reliability needed to maximize shop floor efficiency.
