Built on a rigid Meehanite® cast-iron base, the UG630 delivers exceptional vibration damping, stability, and load capacity—making it equally capable in high-speed machining, heavy-duty cutting, and full five-axis contouring applications. Large, precision spindle bearings further enhance rigidity and accuracy, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of materials and machining environments.

Intelligent CNC Control & Motion Range

The UG630 is equipped with the Heidenhain TNC 640 CNC control, featuring an intuitive touchscreen interface that maximizes programming efficiency and real-time machine feedback. Its X/Y/Z travels measure 640 mm (25.1"), 520 mm (20.4"), and 460 mm (18.1") respectively, while the trunnion table provides a full 360° C-axis rotation and a B-axis swivel range of -50° to +110°, allowing superior tool access to complex surfaces.

Speed, Power & Productivity Enhancements

To support demanding production requirements, the machine delivers rapid traverse rates of 40 m/min (1,575 in/min) across all linear axes and features a powerful 38-hp spindle capable of reaching 15,000 rpm. Additional highlights include a 60-pocket chain-type automatic tool changer and a Blum probing and tool-setting package for streamlined setup and in-process inspection. The clamping area of 650 mm (25.5") accommodates a broad range of workpieces with ease.
